Thread: whats r u doing on the weekend

What am I doing at the weekend? Replacing the manifold gasket on the 110, probably. Apart from that, cutting some firewood.

I will be continuing to fix the beastie, Resting my neck and now removing the seat covers and cleaning the blood out of the wife's car.
When it rains it poors!

Got home to an injured dog today. 6 weeks in a splint and she still has behaviour problems to deal with. I also still ned to fix my computer amongst all that.

What happened to the dog?

Don't know how or when but she managed to gouge a chink oout of the bottom of her paw. She left the skin and top of the pad but lost some of the innards. My first thought was that it was just a thornas she was only limping slightly. Wasn't till I looked to remove it that we fould the wound.

Sounds a bit like a few months back my grand daughter's dog slipped its collar (a friend thought it was too tight and loosened it!) and jumped out of the back of the ute - we were doing about 60kph at the time. Tore one claw completely off, but I stopped when I saw him in the mirror, and he ran up to us without a limp, and I didn't realise there was a problem until he jumped in the front with us and spread blood everywhere!

Sorry to hear about your dog Ed, it probably just cut its foot on something in the yard. I got home from UNI one day to find my dog with a really weaping eye. After a day or two it didnt stop so i took here to the vet. He said she had hit something and torn the clear lens of the eye ball, stuffs me how she did that. Matt

Well due to the weather is crap on the coast will just be sinking a few brews and watching Camel Trophy, 4x4 videos. If the sun comes out will take to dogs for a walk.
