or if you want good and exxy buy Metabo or Hilti.....
My brother is a power tool sales rep and recommends Dewalt for good tools if you can afford them. In his opinion it all depends on how much you use them. If they are used bugger all he recommends Ozito as they have a 3 year warranty and will change over no questions asked at point of purchase. I have an Ozito belt sander and router and have not had a spot of drama with them. I also have a mid priced Dewalt drill which has been great (actually Black & Decker which a lot of people do not know). Bosch tools can be good as can Milwaukee tools. The old Makitas are good and are getting better again. Bunnings did have a Dewalt 18w pack out here for $1250 last week, but I am not sure wether it was the 5 or 7 piece. I know it did have the recipricating saw as that is what I want we use the exact same one for vehicle extrication, the light, the drill, the circ saw and not sure what else. Will have a look. I generally disagree Bunnings have a lot of good gear if you look or ask. They are primarily aimed at DIY handymen though not trade.

All dewalt tools come from the black and decker factory. Black and decker got a name for being cheap crap, and alot of the handy man stuff still is. So to remove themselves from that they branded their tradesman tools dewalt so people wouldnt say oooh its black and decker cant be that good. As it turns out the stuff is bullet proof. Its amazing what you learn when you work in a hardware store and spend time talking to the bloke who has been dealing in it for years.
I own two Black and Decker Firestorm drills and they are brilliant, the batteries are approaching their used by date but they are awsome.
Hitachi and Metabo are both good brands. Matt
