    Open up your wallets

If you are chasing a landcruiser ute there is a good one going in Bendigo. It is a 2020 model, with 43,000 K's on the clock. Now wait for it, a discount price of $239,000 drive away. Get in quick as it won't last long at this price.

    Google Plaza Auto Sales Bendigo.

Dual cab conversion, upgraded GVM, V8 with all the fruit. I reckon they'll get it or close to.
I wouldn't, but there are plenty out there who would.

I think at that price, the original owner, or owner that had the LC200 modded in that manner, would have lost some $s ... for sure.

Agree with some of your comments however those vehicles are apples and oranges… a 400 would be a closer comparison and much cheaper.

Track record is slowly being eroded by more recent models by that brand, more and more issues.

As for service, yes many mechanics - many rural who have no idea of the modern vehicles will still “have a go” on a Toyota and stubbornly baulk at touching a Landy.

As for parts - tried getting anything other than filters for a modern Toyota lately? It’s damn hard work!

But still generally way ahead of the rest, particularly if you look at the % of issues to the number sold.

In Aus they have sold over double any other manufacturer for many years, and market share is continuing to grow, last year was huge for them, this year looks even better, with a bigger market share %.Biggest seller of vehicles for almost 20yrs.

They have also recently taken over as the biggest seller of vehicles in the US.

Ford,as an example of another huge volume seller have had that many recalls and problems in the last few years its rediculous.VW are not far behind either. Some of the issues have been on overseas models.

Anyway, back on topic,a mate just sold a 79,stock standard, over 200 000Km on it,used it for work,so didnt get an easy life, for $35K more than he paid for it new in 2017.
Seems rediculous to me,some buyers must be desparate.
Those things are like a Tractor to drive(Trout may disagree),they need a number of mods to make them reasonably comfortable, and have a turning circle similar to a 110 Defender.

THe chopped LC200 is the better option by a country mile,if you can put up with the extra lenght, they are not much fun parking at the shops.
