I had received a phone call on Mario phone, saying he was looking for Mario thinking it was another customer told him that he has passed away. It turn out he said he was from ebay and he could help me close the account. I said ok he sent me a letter and link. What I saw was that it came through on sales email address and all ebay stuff use to come through on Roverlord. I goggle the phone number 0292937600 before I got the email and it comes up as a scam. So I sent him a lovely worded email back, never click on the link just deleted the email. Heather ( you dont cross this little black duck)
They will start coming from all over the country Heather, I was getting easy 10 a day, when it stopped ringing I go straight to block caller, they never leave a msg it’s down to about 3 a day at the moment,
Hi,
A friend's mum died some time ago. The family got genuine looking invoices from firms like Myers for products purchased.
All of them were opportunistic scams, possibly hoping the executor of the estate would just pay them with out checking with the rest of the family.
Lowlife indeed!
Cheers
Thanks austastar, yes there are people out there like that. I only have my 2 sons and they are up to date with everything. Every thing of Mario is frozen. Mario made sure that we don't owe any money to any one, even the house was paid of a number of years ago. We don't even own a credit card. I can see that a person that is left behind and not thinking straight could answer these scammers.
