    The thing that gets up my nose is the arrogance mixed with his ignorance: that JLR should demonstrate to him that he is wrong. I was wasn't aware that the planets revolved around him!

    I saw that episode and questioned his assumption the vehicle would automatically go into limp mode if a sensor failed, be undriveable and have to be recovered.
    I'm not familiar with the latest Range Rover admittedly, but I've had ABS sensors fail and all that happened was a warning light appeared on the dash, but the vehicle remained drivable.

    APSW has been forced to admit he was wrong. The vehicle is still drivable.

    Likewise I had a sensor come out of the rear hub when the rock guard parted company with hub and ABS and TC lights came on. Sensor cleaned and reinserted and fault cleared.

    Powerfuluk's Simon has rebutted ASPW's undrivable contention but given the dependence of the new Defenders on sensing what the wheels are doing I'm not sure the extent to which terrain response actions like traction control, centre differential, hill descent even maybe the rear E-diff lock and the diesel versions engaging the front drive line are compromised in the unlikely event a sensor will fail or be damaged.

    Solution with ASPWs videos is to turn the volume off and enjoy his recent Canning stock route scenery - some of his cinematography is not too bad.
