A Helpful and very smart Gent. Suggested a months fuel store is not enough. Suggested the same for many medicines - Some of which we are having shortages of right now!

Backed up taking care of Veterans and helped make changes which do help!

    RIP Sir.

Have read many of his articles in the past and they are pretty much on point when it comes to our national security. A sad loss.

I’d never heard of him until I read this thread title. I wasn’t going to reply until I read about him in the local newspaper and found out he was the member for my electorate.

Diggers had heard of him, and by and large he was respected by them, unlike some others I won't mention.

I think that was the 2 dollar shop option myself. I did like Sen Jims comment "“There is no point in having 12 fantastic submarines and 75 F-35s if you’ve got no bloody fuel for them," LINK AFR

Not meaning to add politics to a Memorial thread. Senator Jim Molan was political as Military ( the sharp end of Politics) and a Senator of course.

Their current Administration has been selling their own reserves to our largest northern neighbour. Wonder what they've done with ours.

Jim Molan is also the father of Erin Molan the journalist/ TV presenter who gave a nice speech at his funeral today.

^^ haven’t heard of her, either. But, then, I don’t read newspapers (except the free local) nor watch much free to air TV.
