Have read many of his articles in the past and they are pretty much on point when it comes to our national security. A sad loss.

I’d never heard of him until I read this thread title. I wasn’t going to reply until I read about him in the local newspaper and found out he was the member for my electorate.

Diggers had heard of him, and by and large he was respected by them, unlike some others I won't mention.

Also most of our strategic reserve of fuel is not held in Australia but in the USA!

Not meaning to add politics to a Memorial thread. Senator Jim Molan was political as Military ( the sharp end of Politics) and a Senator of course.

Their current Administration has been selling their own reserves to our largest northern neighbour. Wonder what they've done with ours.

Jim Molan is also the father of Erin Molan the journalist/ TV presenter who gave a nice speech at his funeral today.
