Having a clear video would make the accident investigation a bit easier on the authorities.

Many years ago i saw exactly the same thing happen when a huge gen set came off a Semi going around a corner on Kingsford Smith Dr.

I had to change lanes to miss it,seemed to happen in slow motion, just lifted up and then came off.

I'm familiar with that bend, it's just past the Box Flat Memorial. All that's down that road now is various dumps etc., I reckon that tank was only partially loaded and the driver was unfamiliar with the truck and/or the road.
I've always been a bit overcautious on the bend because of the sign but thought the sign was a bit overcautious. I've never been there with a liquid load.

I wondered that too, the following truck was travelling at about the same speed and the truck that rolled didn't appear to have reacted like he drove into the corner too quickly.

Why was the oncoming truck's trailer on the wrong side of the road?

Presumably from the panic stop, it would be empty and easy to lock up.

It’s good fun when your trailer wants to overtake you.

Do we know how the poor bloke that went over is? Would have been quite a ride.
