There’s an LR mechanic/spare parts bloke in Wentworthville from whom I used to buy parts. He had an E-Type Jag mounted on RRC running gear.
I have a series 1 discovery.. excellent drivetrain. V8 4.6 engine, extractors. Produces good power.
Is it possible if body dimensions miraculously work out, to put an ac cobra fibreglass body or possibly some usa muscle car body onto the rolling chassis of the disco.
Or is this sacrilege to mess with.
Has anyone done a swap of any kind and mated two different vehicles together.?

Now that is a great idea..
Will try to find this guy.
If you have a name or number I'll track him down and give him a call.
Thanks
There were these. I looked into this for an old RRC I had, The kit was designed for them but a D1 ain't much different. The single cab was just one variant.

Then in 2005 there was a TV show where Mark Evans put a Series body on one as well. Sure, not a "muscle car", but a good project nonetheless if you had a rusty chassis Series hanging around. I think I've still got it somewhere. A 4x4 Is Born

Bill Larman pushed the body off a RRC and bolted this on.

Another local bloke mounted a Dodge body on a Defender and used Jeep Running gear
Anything is possible .. you just have to work within the National code ofd practice , VSB14 , know the rules and work with a registration authority engineer.
All good suggestions..
There was the old Thomas crown affair film..
