We had the rear seat in our wagon when I was growing up. I managed to find the rear facing seat for the 740 wagon with the intention of doing the same for my kids. The only problem is there was no approved way to fit a car/booster seat to it, and by the time the kids were out of the booster seat they're over the weight limit for the seat itself. So it was a complete waste of time and money.

It doesn't need me fiddling with connectors to make it stop. It's perfectly capable of doing that all by itself.

Not to mention a carton of Coopers Pale Ale! Although, being so precious, I would secure it in the seat belt anyway.

I was in Sydney so it was probably Retches. South Aussies drank West End for some reason.

You are correct, oh learned one.

XXXX Bitter was the choice of cold beverage in those days, although I think Coopers has been brewed since the 1860s.

Tin's post, above, brought back memories, some horrible (Southwark et al ), of the '70's beer strike.

Fixed that for you. There was some awful Tassie sewerage floating around then, too.
That strike was deliberately provoked by management. They needed to shut the production line down for a major update. The modernisation took six weeks, then the dispute was amazingly settled, quickly, in favour of the workers.
