Ooooh, really???!! That's his vehicle?? It looks like a cracker. I reckon its provenance would definitely increase the price. I mean, I'd be more likely to buy it myself, if the chance came.

No worries at all,pic of the one in my sig on Fraser island early 70's

We ended up leaving it, went fishing,then backed it out a couple of hours later when the tide had gone out further.

Yes, that's what they always say. I have a friend called Josephine from just south of Sheffield and she maintains that driving a Series One is heaven, often going on trips with her Irish housemate, Donohue. One day a while back, there was a bit of damage to one of the cars. The usual sort of thing: soft top, hard shoulder. They got out to fix Donohue's broken wheel and her housemate couldn't believe her eyes, crying "it's all gone". I don't know if it has been completely repaired yet, but, last I heard, the Stainsby girls were working on it.
