    Rare Cars and Lindsay Fox

I heard this story on the wireless last the weekend.

Many years ago, Lindsay Fox was after a rare Merc for his museum.

He located one overseas. He organised with the owner to take it to a Merc dealer to have it inspected and assessed.

After hearing nothing for a week he contacted the owner to see what was the delay.

The owner said that it had been raining all week and that he would never take it out if raining.

Lindsay bought in there and then.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Pics were taken on 35mm. Should have the disk somewhere. It was a big exhibit.
