    Stretch Car Freighters

    Hello All,

Does anyone know whether if Stretch Car Freighters is still in operation? I rang their mobile number and it comes back as being disconnected. Their Facebook page has not been active since 2019. Perhaps they have new contact details after COVID - Hopefully, they are still around?

    Kind regards
    Lionel

Odds are they're gone, Lionel. Have you tried their landline?

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

    Hello Ian,

No - their Facebook page only showed a mobile number. Thank you for the land line number. The issue has thankfully slipped past. Someone else was quicker off the mark. Well less problem :0). Phew!

    Kind regards

For future reference Lionel, a few years ago, when I was closer to that segment of the industry, Melcrest were the easiest to deal with for casual users.

    Hello Ian,

Thank you for the recommendation. Did Melcrest do only alive cars? A significant amount of car freighters do not like cars that cannot move under their own power. Anyway - bullet dodged so I am one happy camper.

    Kind regards
    Lionel
