Reliable second hand car options MKII

Similar query to Gav's, different parameters.

Lady friend will be looking soonish. Currently driving a current model D-Max dual cab tray. This will be departing. So, replacement required.

Preferences are. 4WD, manual, safe for two kids, room for mutts, able to carry quantities of stock feed, reliable.... NO HiLuxes.

Budget around $20K ish. Woman loves my 109", which of course ticks none of the boxes other than the HiLux one....

    Ute preferred, wagon considered.

    Diesel also preferred.

there are a few older D-Max ( 2015 ish ) around that might fit, and could be a good choice for familiarity, but I have no idea of any issues they might have had.

    All suggestions welcomed.

Trition always seemed to be underrated.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Thx Ian. Def one for the list. I'll be looking up your way if you know of any decent sellers.

    John,
I think your selling short the 109,

It's 4WD, manual,, room for mutts, able to carry quantities of stock feed, reliable.... NO HiLuxes. Budget around $20K ish.

Not sure about the ute, wagon, diesel configuration.
