How do i get it home?

I have bought a series 2 for restoration that resides in Melbourne (I live in Sydney) and i need to bring the new toy home. Trouble is it doesnt drive enough for the car moving companies to pick up . Does anyone know how i might be able to move it short of taking a long trip with a trailer?

Unless you know somebody coming this way, it may be your only option, unless you have a mate with a truck somewhere.

Depends on how much your wanting to spend on bringing it back!

How much is the Car companies looking to charge?

Could be Cheaper just to pick one up closer.
Or Make it worth someones while to do a special trip on your behalf

Ring some of the car movers. For a bit extra some of them take non running cars. I have just arranged with Allied Pickfords for them to transport a car for me that is not running. Must have a working handbrake though.

I suggest you try "Statewide Car Carriers" in Gosford.

I bought my Game in Brissie a while ago and they brought it back to Central Coast.
Best quote by hundreds and they treated the landy like gold. Very happy with their service. Will use them again in future.

Not sure if they will take "non driveable" but its worth a call to ask. Details are :

    Hope that helps.
