It’s one of many that fly by. The airfield is less than a kilometre away.

So is the 'let's bail out of a perfectly serviceable plane' club.

Which is a very scary thing to do, and when I learnt there was no tandem jumps. I liked flying the chute not the jumping part.

It’s been interesting watching. I’m a little too far away for positive ids, but there are a few biplanes, and high wing taildraggers flying in and out. Lots gliders as well. When the dust settles here I’m going to spend an afternoon down there watching operations.
I miss flying but I doubt I’d pass the medical these days. Besides, $$$$$$.

When Mario and I and the boys went to New Zealand some years back, the boys want to jump out of a plane. We found a place that did tandem jumping, I think it cost us just over $1400, that included the jump with someone else jumping and taking photos while they where in the air coming down. If I remember it right it was for 2 planes as well. So there was one son and the guy that was attached and a another one that jumped out that was taking the photos. The boys loved it, and yet we wouldn't let them do bungee jumping while we where in New Zealand. Go figure Mario let them jump out of a plane but he though that bungge jumping was more dangerous.
