    Hella Rallye 4000's

Guy's got a great deal on a set of Hella Rallye 4000's today. Wife bought a voucher for tools at a charity auction, went in to look at the tools and the manager said I could get tools or anything else to the value in the shop or he would do a set of Rallye 4000's for me. Voucher $400 only paid $180 so very happy (hella's for Shrek now instead of Lightforce). As a Truck workshop he retails Rallye 4000's for $186 each which I thought was good (have seen them up to $330 each). Also included clear covers. So anyone in Kalgoorlie drop into Truckline on Gt Eastern Hwy for Hella lights and see Simon.
Nearly bought some ratchet spanners instead, it was a tough choice.
Will have to get a wiring upgrade from Traxide, have been putting it off with expenses of moving, getting house ready for sale. An order will be coming Traxide but may be a couple of months.
Were not supposed to buy anything this year, but the missus just can not help her self, bless her, she is an angel.

Craig - They are great lights, did you get spots or spreads? I run two spreads with two Bull220 spots as well.

    Andy,
Was just about to buy some Light Force XGT's, but these were a bargain and comparable.

    Jon,
I got two spots, will keep the narva spreads and try and fit as well. Depends who you talk too on price. I have seen them up to $330 eack, average seems to be $700 fitted. Was going to buy Lightforce XGTs, but this was just to good to pass up. The new smaller units look pretty speccy as well. The manager at Truckline had them on his wagon. May get a pair of them if the Narvas are not up to it.

    Dawg,
Look at the first post, I got the pair for $180. Thats what convinced me to buy Hellas.
Have seen quotes of $700 fitted. There was a pair of chrome Rallye 4000s advertised value $1400 pair.

I was even luckier getting them for $180 the pair. The guy I spoke to said he buys direct from Hella and still makes a good profit at $186 each, most other retailers overcharge. Best bet is to go to a truck workshop/spares shop and see what they charge. Heaps cheaper than most auto retailers.

Best trade I can get is around $210 each, through a mate in a dealership, Ralley 2000 for $167 throw the same light, same distance.
