Hi Chris
Only the one "official" dealer wich is Barbagallo Landrover north of the river or Southern Landrover south of river.(same company)
May have luck with some of the "specialists" Britparts,Rovacraft,Guest and Pudey,Discovery autos.
May be worth contacting the WA LROC,Bradtot on here is your man.He may be able to help with contacts for the above companies.

Chris,
When you say sponsoring is it in regards to financially backing them or showing them around and letting them dos down and get fed for a night or two?
hehe.. We need both Mat.Originally Posted by dobbo
I'm starting to contact Land Rover-related suppliers and dealers to ask them for financial support in the way of services, parts, etc, and organise some exposure for them - once I have the press side covered. I'm going to ask them to cover the cost of the 60k service, brakes, tyres, etc.
Hopefully some TV station or group will see the storyline from the cooking angle, and have them on something like Ian Hewitson's show or similar.
As far as the rest of us go, we're asking that as they make it across the country, local clubs and individuals may like to show some hospitality and either have them along on a trip, let them in for the night or at least let them use the back paddock.
Any help is warmly appreciated Mat
Cheers

I would mind to but couldn't afford to back them financially, perhaps a whip around could be the go there, but put me down as a potential guide to any fishing, tourist, or 4wd activities around Lake Macquarie, Watagans and Hunter region. We live in suburbia but I'm sure we could find a paddock for them to stay in (as long as the don't mind horses)

Don't worry - we won't be asking individuals for any monetary support. Just show them a good trip, a beer or a bottle of wine and some good campfire conversation. Thanks for the fishing suggestion - it'd be great to do the Lake Mac area as I'm up there fairly often too.

I'm happy to organise local contacts (4WD clubs) and areas to see down our way. We can also help with space to doss either in the house or on the block. I may be able to arange accommodation round albury as well.
Cheers Edd! That's the spirit!Originally Posted by George130
