Missed this. Bill died on Saturday. He was 90. RIP

My Grandfather was Bill Hayden's campaign director before he entered Federal Politics. I remember my parents' holdings fund raising parties under our house at Darra when I was in my late teens & going to my Grandparents house at Booval, Ipswich where he held his campaign meetings in my grandfather's garage. My Grandfather Jack Perrett had a park in Basin Pocket named after him for the work he did for the Labor Party.
