Hmm,one did end up bogged in Eli creek,on Fraser, two high tides went over it before it was recovered.

The boat wasn't on that trip, but the vehicle was brand new,it still had the "Please pass running in" note on the rear window

Towed back to Annand and Thompson, back on the road a week later.

There were some pics, but they seem to have gone missing.

    Sorry Paul.
    Dont worry about me
I am used to the occasional bashing, usually by those that know all about them but have never owned one

It could be the dedicated recovery vehicle for the group
Time to hide under a rock.

Apologies to those that have seen this pic before.

    A cough,cough,Toyota holding everyone up

Another Fraser pic, remember those gutter fishing rod holder clips?
The old Man loved that cane surf rod,it literally caught many hundreds of fish.

Couple of weeks after I got it, couple of weeks before all of the background turned to ash on Black Saturday.

Jan got out! I'm not sure she would like the OKA.

1000k job to do. Had a nice few days there, not many pics.

She's nearly registered again. Maybe a few short trips will come. The OKA is more for the long ones. We'll see.

The one with no shirt on.
His favourite attire was no shoes, shorts and no shirt, luckily he had skin that didn't burn, just turned darker.

    Unlike mine

If you look closely at that pic there is a domestic dog in the background.

A couple of Simpson Desert pics, not the greatest pics, unfortunately.Second is SWMBO pumping up the tyres, before getting onto the black top.
Had 17's on it at the time.

Another great trip and a wonderfull place to visit. We did two long desert trips in the D4,that was the earlier trip, from Brisbane, through central NSW, down to Adelaide,up the center,Flinder Ranges, etc, etc, then Alice, and West and East Mcdonald ranges, through Finke ,back across the desert, to Brisbane.
