The AULRO Isuzu engine committee would like to reciprocate the Christmas greetings to our Isuzu cous' in the US, although in the committee's defense the committee did not see the post until nearly 3 months after its initiation, given it was moved, and given we rarely look out side the Isuzu forum!

It has taken on a life of it's own. There is obviously a need for a thread like this...regular family and friends have low tolerances for green slides, interminable photos of the Maheno, etc

Would like to see some more Isuzu pics from Oz, US and other countries to pull this thread back in the right direction. Three Isuzu you say! Pics!

Don’t believe it, must be photoshopped. ASPW said a Defender couldn’t do the Canning.

Agreed... And it's disappointing someone would do that, I've even heard they are not very good on the bitumen either...

(This is a joke for anyone that doesn't get my sense of humour)

We actually did not do the canning.
    what we did
    Adelaide to the Flinders ranges
Flinders ranges to Mt dare via the Oodnadatta track, East into the Simpson on the rig road then north on the Coulson track to the Madigan line, then west to the Andado Alice springs track.
From Alice west to the Mcdonald ranges and along further west to Kintore we then went south on the sandy blight track to the Giles weather station, then west on the central rd to the Heather highway, north to the Gunbarrel to the Gary junction track, and north again to the Talawana track west again crossing the canning stock route past Pangurr and then north again to the queen of the desert baths in the Rudall river national park ,north again towards the Telfet gold mine but turned west 30kms short past thr nifty mine and onto the woody mine area where we got on the bitumen, then Marble bar ,Broome to Halls creek, then south east down the Tanami via Balgo to the Sturt high way, noth east to Gemtree on to the Binns track and loop around Alice to come in from the south.south down the old Ghan track to Finke. one of the cars in the group broke down and limped back to Adelaide we went back to the Flinders for another coupe of weeks. Approx 10000 kms but we did have an engine light fault that was soon cleared.

For a bloke who did most of his early, tough 4wding in a RRC, he's turned into a bit of a goose. Caught the ToyBoy disease.
