    Shop Local, Not a Chance

Late last year I was prescribed some medication. As my doctor was in Shepparton I went to the big yellow and blue chemist.

Pills were $6.25. I had to renew my script yesterday and I thought I would do the right thing and support my local chemist.

I was expecting to pay a bit more, maybe 2 to 3 dollars and I would have excepted that.

However, to my shock horror they were $20.65. That's over $14 more!

We keep getting spruiked to shop local and support local business.

Be buggered if I ever set foot in that chemist again.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

I try to shop local, but they have to be in the ball park.

We must be nearly due for another dinner.

My rule is 20%. I'll take anything up to a 20% hit for local. Any more than that and I shop around.

I try to shop local where I can .
My Dyson V8 stick vac stopped working, best Vacuum ive ever had. period.
Bunnings is only 5 min walk away (lucky me), looked on website & they had them in stock $450 . so went up to get one. None on the shelf . Bunnings lady had a look & saw 30 in stock in Shepparton so I ordered one click & collect .

Call from Bunnings Lady a few hours later to refund my money & sorry, nil stock, website is faulty .

So I order one from eBay from dyson direct $399 , free post. Considering my original was $750 thats a bargain. I took the battery from new one to try on old one & it works, Ordered new battery, $60 now I have 2 .

Hi Dave at that price its a concession price, as my prescrition are that price.
Sounds like someone made a mistake when filling your order.
On my label it shows the cheaper price which I pay and then next to it show the regular price.
And yet I could be wrong???
    Just a though. Heather

When my microwave died, I replaced it with an air fryer.
