Sounds like someone made a mistake when filling your order.
On my label it shows the cheaper price which I pay and then next to it show the regular price.
And yet I could be wrong???

Like Tins said, you are probably right.

My Mother was on the same medication as i am.

She was paying around $6.00,where i was paying $27,for the same amount and tablet size.

Yes, it does work, spectacularly, though we won't mention (severity) Side effects.... Will it be $$ worth the pain ?

I must be getting old or something.

When I first read this, I thought "why would he replace a dead microwave with a hair dryer?"
    Cheers .........

Went back to the yellow and blue shop today to get more. Same cheap price, six dollars something.

I do not qualify for any concession pricing, so I assume that what I pay is the normal price.

Since my OP whinge, I went back and confronted my local and he said that it is not worth the drive to Shepparton to save $14.

He is probably right except I go there regularly for other stuff and my work is in the town just a few kays across the river.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

I’ll do the same within “reason”. A few dollars here and there won’t bother me if it’s convenient.

Then there’s one shop in town, I’ll happily pay double or drive a 900km round trip to get the equivalent item rather than give them my business.

We have been using same Chemist for over 40 years & the service we get is amazing, you don't get the same service from these large Wherehouse chemists who employ young school age staff who know nothing about the product or where is located in the store. When I visit my local chemist, all the staff address me by Mr T***** & go out of their way to help. Of late for the last 6 months, my wife has been requiring a wheelchair for multi hospital visits sometimes up to a month at a time & I have not had to pay for the hire of the chair, we have the chair for a month+ at the moment If they don't have the medication in stock they will have it by the next day & either call as soon as it comes in or deliver it to our house at no extra cost to us. I am happy to pay a little extra for this type of service, also our local is 5 min's from home where the other is 20 min's each way so there is the saving on fuel.

It's not just chemists I shop around for just about everything some stores think because you don't live in a major city they can jack the price up auto shops are a prime example of this.

Talking of concession prices, I was given tablets for a liver problem last year, only available from the hospital.
Actually thought it must have been a typo, so when I got renewal, I asked if it was a mistake, they said it wasn't.

I paid $39.50 for one months supply, needed 2 refills, so, 3 bottles total.
Full cost displayed on the bottle, wait for it,

I'm not sure, maybe it was just a code??
