    My kinda... luck?

It never rains but it pours, or so the saying goes. Personally I seem to have the kind of "luck" as a mate of mine once described it:

"You have a lot of small bad luck things, but when it REALLY counts you are always lucky"

Not sure when the "really counts" starts working but if I look at my car troubles lately... First my mate announces he is closing his shop and since I sold my house already in preparation for our trip he is the last person close to me with a hoist that is easily accessible. So guess what? My daily driver throws a CV, my girls daily driver developed brake issues and my range rover well, that is always a work in progress but decided it wanted a LOT of play on the front diff. So now I have less than a week before he starts pulling down his hoists and what not to get all that fixed or I will have to, ewww, start paying someone to do that work for me which just won't do!

Sure, first world problems but I am seeing a pattern here! Is it just me orrrrr?

    Cheers,
    -P

Not just you. Currently I seem to have about as much luck as a Lada in a Russian dash cam video. Except I don't drink, so it hurts more....

Wasn't it Jerry Garcia, of 'The Grateful Dead', who opined:

"If it wasn't for Bad Luck, I wouldn't have any Luck!" ?

I mostly reply to it with this:

Frank Sinatra - That's Life | Sinatra A Man And His Music Part II - YouTube

Though, it does get me down some times

Don't watch JOKER then. It will change that song for you, forever. Doesn't bother me, as I am not a fan of Frank.

    Kind regards
