Son used in video to promote Tokushima Japan

As every one know my son Brendon lives in Japan and works at the Tokushima government prefecture in there tourist department promoting and translating. This is a video he was in, so proud of him and I bet Mario would have been to. Heather.

I assume that your son is the one with the green top in the early part and at the very end having a beer?

Yes you should be proud and I'm sure Mario is upstairs nodding with approval.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Oh my goodness..... I lived in Tokushima 30 years ago. I am assuming he works as a CIR/JET and/or at the Tokushima-Kencho? I took my family back to visit last Summer for three weeks, spending nearly half that time on Shikoku, including Tokushima and wish I had known this, as it would have been a wonderful AULRO moment for us had we met him. THANK YOU FOR SHARING. Yes, much reason for you to be proud!

Yes he did do JEt program, he left 27th July 2019, and that was the last time Mario at the airport, then covid hit. He did the jet for 3 years in Kochi, and then got this job in Tokushima which is on the same island. He has a great view from his office over looking Shinmachi river and all the boats which runs in to the sea. He has another year in this job, (under a contract), and he will have to look for another job, he has made a lot on contacts over there so I am sure he will get another job. He has totally settle there and he told me that he wont be coming back to Australia, because of better jobs easy to travel around etc. He did say he is coming home this Xmas for a holiday, the only other time was in 22 to attend his dad funeral. Yes, you really can not miss him being 6'foot 5. He does stand out in a crowd. He goes out driving around taking photo's and video's of places, and doing translating for his job.

Just a side note when he is doing that dance in the video he knew how to do it as he joined a dance group, and was in the Awo Odori Festival last year, in which other dance groups from all around Japan go to.
It is the biggest dance festival in Japan. And yes he was dressed in the Japanese gear.

You are so right - Awa Odori is absolutely an incredible festival in Tokushima. Last Summer we wrapped up two days there before flying to Tokyo and home. I think I posted about it here somewhere on the forums at the time.

Yes and Brendon is in LA at the moment on holiday then to San Diego then to Colorado, meeting up with some friends that he made on the jet program from 2019/2021.

I'd love to go to Japan. I think everybody who I know that has been there has said that they love it there.
    Cheers
