Green lip abalone, Sea urchin, squid, delicious chili mussels from "the little mussel cafe Portarlington" Highly recommended!!!!

No fish bones recently. I do like boney fish John. Perferbly a nice Blue fin tuna with fillets of about 10kg each or Flathead which fillet brilliantly. The bones and heads are always used for stock mate

Sorry James, sea urchin is one thing Mario wouldn't eat. Did try it at the market and he said it was really bad. Heather

It scared me until I tried in in Japan Heather. I wonder if you may have a family member who may be able to confirm if it is as good as I recall. Note Sea Urchin here is YUCK until row is available in Nov- Feb I understand. I know where to collect them on mass now. If you get advise they are great I will bring you some when they are full of Roe.

I would have to ask Brendon, but he isn't in Japan at the moment,he is visiting mates in the US. He flew in to LA last week and now in Denver. He is back in Japan nest week. I think if I remember it right he said it was alright but not sure I will have to ask him. Sorry James I really don't eat sea food like Mario did. Mario was the crazy one that would eat seafood every day if he could, but it would have to be fresh. Our first date(blind date 10/1/1986)) was at the oyster bar in king st.

I’d ask my daughter (she’s doing a woodworking course and forestry course in Japan for the next 2 years) but I think she is vegetarian.

Me? I wouldn’t have eaten any of the things you listed, James. I’m a meat eater, not seafood.
