Indeed. I would turn the thing off about 50km from any city. It’s impossible to use it, and I would want to throw the thing out the window.

What UHF CB channel are they using now around Sinney? I've tried calling on Ch 40 to let truckies know of non-working trailer lights, etc., or of HWP but never get a response these days.

I assume they have moved owing to the number of idiots on Ch 40.

Even I turn my UHF off once I'm over the hill at Yerrinbool, too much idiot traffic and no useful information

Not much opportunity for that ex Melbourne. I enjoyed the trips I did from Brisvegas to Adelaide. Boss preferred us to use the route through Bourke to the Hill. Got left alone out there.
