Thread: How would James Bond have handled this situation?

Some years ago in the course of my work I had to call at a house. I knew there had been a baby born recently so I asked the woman how the baby was getting on.
"Would you like to see the baby?" she asked.
"Yes" I replied.
"Follow me" she said "the baby is asleep in the bedroom."
So I followed her into the bedroom.
As we went in to the bedroom, the husband stepped out of the shower, nude naturally enough.
"I am just here to see the baby" I said.

Aaah! You see, James would have anticipated the possible presence of a rival for the lady's affection and would have declined the invitation to see the baby along with an enigmatic comment that he would see her soon at a more romantic time. She, of course, would be swooning in anticipation and be waiting expectantly in her finest night attire that very evening.
