Looks like I'll be arriving in Perth and from there on is still up for debate. I have a list of things to do and see but it's quite the puzzle figuring out what needs permits, what is open when etc.

It'll be fine mate I'll either not be around for long since we got "only" a year or my landrover might break down

Why not start a thread with your must dos, like to dos, etc. and ask for suggestions. Many of us know of places that will never be found in the blurbs.

Live in Fremantle and happy to meet for a coffee et al and suggest a few places in the west after a 50 year career both in the city and north of the state (plus visiting all other states/territories at least once).

Much appreciated! Will keep it in the back of my head and get in touch when the moment of our arrival is coming close I am also going to start a topic soon-ish on our planning in the appropriate forum on here so keep an eye out. Of course if there are spots you'd rather not make public, then by all means we'll do it over a cuppa. Looking forward to that!
