    Faulty GPS

Was splitting sticks today to start the fire when owing to a faulty GPS unit on the axe, the axe hit my thumb instead of the stick.

There's that old axiom about you always learn something from your mistakes. The thing I learned from this experience, is to get the Mrs to chop the sticks...

At least it didn't direct you into the North Sea while it was at it.

I just watched some of the 2023 Stihl Timbersports. Chopping one's thumb with an axeman's axe would have been somewhat more severe.
