Looks like Alfred did another little loop overnight, delaying its arrival at Moreton Bay until it can coincide with Saturday morning's high tide!

I suppose 'Small Mercies' come in to play here. High on Saturday morn is only 2.17, with tide heights increasing to 2.5, mid-week.
Cloudy and reasonably calm here, at present.
Funny, ay. Henry, the rough, tough, farm dog, has been acting spooked for the last two days. Barkometric pressure?

My wife and I have been through a couple of Cat 3s and a Cat 4, so it's life as normal here, other than a quick tidy up around the place and the orchids in the bath.

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Well, a bit of a non-event for Brisbane city and north side, even though that is where Alfred crossed the coast.
Understand Gold Coast and Northeastern NSW got a bit of a hammering. Hope everyone in those areas got through unscathed.
Still got plenty of rain to come ashore. We'll see what that brings.
So, until the next one.
