I am fairly certain Triumph heralds were made/assembled here by Australian Motor Industries (AMI). There were plenty about when I was a young guy, but are hard to find these days because there was a class of open wheel race cars (up to 5 or 600cc motors) that mostly used the heralds independent rear end, and being cheap second hand, heaps were bought to get these suspensions. The triumph spitfire is based on the herald and had the same amount of rattles. I had a spitfire in the mid 60s and remember getting it up to 160 kmh valve bouncing down the Toowoomba range.
