    Vietnam trip

Just got home from 10 days in Vietnam and absolutely loved it, our 2 girls (18 and 22) came and they also loved it. The food, cheap beer and scenery was great, people are friendly and its very safe to walk around at night.
We started in Ho Chi Minh then flew to Da Nang and on to Hoi an, then to Hanoi and an overnight cruise on Ha Long bay.
It was hot ranging from 33-41 with high humidity and it didn't cool down overnight at all, we all want to go back again.

My wife and daughter went some years ago and really enjoyed it.

My daughter had been checking on-line and found Jetstar tickets for $37 each way. She thought ?Who can go with me?? She chose her mother and bought her tickets, too.

Not many LR vehicles on the roads there, saw 1 x Evoque, 1 x L663 and a few L494's. By all accounts anything bigger than a scooter is rich mans territory.

My friend 3 doors up, she and her friend are staying a the hotel next to the airport tonight has they have a flight to Vietnam tomorrow morning they are staying for 10 day at 2 different resorts. They are going by Vietnam airline. And they bought premium economy tickets, but last night they got a message that the flight had been changed to a bigger plane and there is no premium economy seats on that style of plane. It will be interesting to see what happen tomorrow at the airport, and with premium you get 2x 23kg bags, and economy 1x23kg. My friend only has one bag and was hoping to buy stuff over there. Wonder if the airline will honor the bag allowance. I don't know if coming back they have premium economy or they just get economy. And trying to call the airline, they don't answer, then my friend found a number in Sydney, and he wasn't much help, didnt know if they will sit together, and he said he could do a blank seat between them, but wasn't sure.
