    1096 Days 😳

Since I had a drink. 3 years. As a former "high functioning" alcoholic I'm a bit chuffed. Might have a beer to celebrate......... Or not.

    Good to hear.

In my life I've never been keen on the idea of being 'sozzled' - three or four such sessions in my early twenties among the social culture that pushes it made me think what is the point. I realize people have a range of reasons for why they find themselves down that road, not just the addiction. I think 'no alcohol' beer is great for the social aspect, and for satisfying that hard days thirst so you can go straight back to the machinery.

On or about 3 years ago today the workload of the moderation team dropped off a cliff. Might be a co-incidence though

An unusual outlook, particularly for one from your locality. You have more than twice my experience, but I was always a bit of a sook.

Well done and congratulations. It's not usually an easy road once chosen. All the best for the next 1096 days.

Well done JT, and hearty congratulations. That and what you're having to put up with medically, show you're a tough bugger. Keep it up mate
    Don.
