    Poetry and Land Rovers

I have always thought that when Mr Lemmy (Motorhead) wrote the immortal words
"The only way to feel the noise
Is when it's good and loud
Shake your head, you must be dead
If it don't make you proud."
He had a Land Rover series 111 with the 2.25 diesel engine in mind.
    Whereas Mr Wordsworth with his
"I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high, o'er vales and hills
When all at once, I saw a cloud
    A host of golden daffodils."
just does not cut it with driving a series 111 with the 2.25 diesel engine. More suitable to one of those new type electric yokes.
So when I am out in the series 111, it is Mr Lemmy that occupies my head, not Mr Wordsworth.

I don't think the Series lll had been released when young Bill penned "Daffodils", or it might have been a host of golden Games.

a poem as lovely as a Landie
    'sit bonum tempora volvunt'
