Front doors - no problems at all, rear doors - muddy patches in the carpet to about 50mm away from the sills. Didn't notice at the time.Originally Posted by loanrangie

note 1 :the blue jappa sunk up to bonnet and a white 100 jappa floated (not 2 bad for a over weight 8" higher TLC.)
Love the Disco, took the correct line and it didn't float or drop into the hole. However it was the only one to fill with water, my excuse was this is a design feature to stop the car from floating. Besides only leaked in the back seat area and I don't sit there.
Note the date, two days after Tsunami and I got that nick name for my effortsThe picture taker was swamped. Teach them to own a Jappa.
Have done more in the High country (top trip all Landies and ran in to the Sydney LRO Club) however it has taken me the best part of an hour to work out how to put the above photos on this site.![]()
That just means that I need to play more![]()

In relation to salties and the Katherine Gorge - yes we do get them. They pulled a couple more out this year at the start of the dry season in their traps.
And Daly has always been known to have a few in there as well.

Un 1983 I was on a exercise "Pitch Black" which was a rolling deployment from Alice Springs to Darwin (6 week duration playing war) I had the dubious responsibility of wading cross creeks before the 101's towing a very water sensitive Rapier misslie launcher crossed following me and my white sticker on my backside (on blackout lights, when sticker dissappereard to deep for vehicles to cross) The water sounded alive with wildlife, I had an SLR with a red mag and 20 live ones in it as did the co driver on the vehicle following all of a sudden the silence of the night was shattered by a SLR rapport then another and another, the water exploded about 7m to my right and I got the **** outta there as a huge croc had its death fit.. the boys said didn't you see it ( I was concentraing on my foot placement save going tits up) I said no but I'm glad they did..trouble was I had to do it again 5 times that night and the rest of the crossings I kept my eyes peeled....great life for some one 21.. middle of nowhere, **** scared and wet. Now thats a river crossing![]()
