too true Des, I posted on another forum ealier in the week how his books influenced this little tacker growing up, but I'm just stunned when I read about Brocky.Originally Posted by 4bee

I've watched him drive so many times, as a littly growing up in the seventies, at the track as a spectator in the eighties and actually competing in the same meetings in the nineties.
Can't describe how I feel ATM.![]()
sad even if he didnt drive a ford he was a good man as well as a top driver
Better to go out doing what you love then die of old age to crippled to enjoy your life.
Life is a gift do something with it before it is reclaimed.
Guess St Peter has got a few interesting stories to tell this week.
And if they have to go in threes can we squeeze in George W Bush and Bonzai (Howard) as a 2 for the price of 1 deal?
The King is dead long live the King!!!!

I had the pleasure of listening to Peter speak at a Variety Club charity auction in Melbourne about 6 weeks ago. He was great person and very generous with his help to charities. I just wish I had bid on one of his autographed jackets as the bidding on them was suprisingly low.
