Jensen Interceptor V8 powered series landy

So, I came across this video yesterday evening...

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExrENr8C9TI

My word, that is a heavily modified series land rover! A jensen interceptor V8 and all sorts of goodies on the vehicle. They got it driving eventually:

Too bad it seems to have stalled there. Such a shame, the guy actually said: "I want to make a separate video with all the history of the car" and as far as I can tell, it never came. Really curious about the bloke who put this together, he must have loved his rig.

    Wasn't the Interceptor a Chrysler V8?
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

    yep they had a 383, 440 and 360. So I guess it's also a Bluesmobile motor.

It was indeed, with a TorqueFlite usually. Bloody lethal on wet roads. The FF was better.... just.

judging by the logo on the starter motor, it is a chrysler indeed. But it's not just the engine, the propulsion seems to have been done with a 6-belt drive and in order to make it all fit and work the engine is shoved to one side. Also, the additional stuff like air springs and lockers, even some sort of central locking on air, an interior light switch bolted to the dash so the lights come on when you open the door, all sorts of homebrew stuff.

Truly a work of a man who knows what he wants And done a long time ago no doubt as well.
