    Aussie Disposals Closing

Called into the Dandenong store today, 25% off across the store.
Turns out they are trading until most of the stock has gone then closing.

Is that all of their shops Colin, or just the Dandenong one? The one near us (Warragul) has far better options in a lot of camping stuff than the other mobs.

Voluntary Administration for the second time in 6 years, reportedly owing around $4M.
So I guess that means all of them although 13 are franchises.

The one in Moe has already closed. The original one, I believe, but not in its original location.

Like everything else in Moe. Perhaps they should have put in pokies.
My wife worked for the family in one of their other businesses in the town in the mid 70s. I didn't know about the receivership problems, not surprising with the big chains importing chicom stuff like in every other area of retail in Australia. Gone the way of McEwans.

I think they moved the Ferret from Dandenong down to Dandy South / Hampton Park ages ago, wonder where that will end up.
