I am going to be up there in early November. When I had my car serviced at Cooper's they told me that the pressure from the under body spray sometimes stuff's up the height sensors on some air suspension car's ( not all ) and they drop to the bump stops. Anyone had this problem up there.

Hmm that's an interesting point. I love my suspension but I don;t want it near the bump stops... again. Been there, done that.

I never bothered with the ute coz it ain't exactly waterproof. While some might get into the cab, the inside of the tray (and all my gear) waould probably get soaked with the crap.

And yeah I used to spend an hour or so with a hose doing the right thing. Dunno what to do now with the new water restrictions !
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

When i went though it with the 90 it was great. Got twice the wash for the same price. As it is a soft top. It washed the inside of the car as well as the outside

We have used it both time's we've been to Fraser. I think it's excellent... but it's not a complete solution.

Both times when I got home I got very busy with the hose, and I managed to cover the driveway with sand.

So, my summary is that it is excellent for getting the bulk of it off. However if you only do it and don't go over the underside with the hose when you get home then you are asking for trouble.

From this aspect i think it's dangerous as a lot of people will use it and think they are "done".

    car wash

have to agree with captain rightfoot . i was lucky enough to live close by to rainbow beach for a few years . i suppose on the beach 100s of times . got a real shock the day i got under the car with a hose . bucketloads of sand seems to hide itself . could do it one day ,then repeat it the next day and still some sand left . my only advice is to get under the car with a hose once you get home

Was up there a few months ago and used the UB wash for the firtst time ( been up there at least 10 times). Worked a treat as driving back to Bris would have hardened a lot of the sand in those hard to reach places when dried out. I used the high pres. gernie aswell and it took a hell a lot of the cleaning out of the job needed at home. My height sensors were fine and would do it again. (RR p38).
