Well having got back from the mud just now... i will check for pics, not sure what we took up there yesterday i have around 300 shots from the whole weekend to sort out!!!
Anyway, that wasnt the last good act for the day, when we set up camp Byron found another person in need, wandering through the forest in the dark late at night.. There car had stalled in water nearby and they had flattened the battery trying to start it. They were walking back to there camp to try and get a battery out of there other car. Luckily we had my brothers jump start pack handy and Wortho took him and the jump start pack back down a nasty little track to recover the vehicle.
And then again today, with the mass of broken vehicles, all those mechanically inclined were under the dead vehicles helping out trying to get everyone mobile again - No complaints just lending there skills for others benefit. Great to see!!
It seems the AULRO crowd is full of friendly helpful people - a great group to be a part of.

Nope, we had a few injuries today.
Chris blew his diff, had gears sticking out of the diff housing.. looks pretty cool, lucky we have a few spares between us.
Morgan had various issues after his rangie had an alergic reaction to the muddy water - he didnt even make it out of camp all day.
Defenderzook snapped his rear tailshaft and put a near 90 degree bend in his passenger side rear trailing arm.
Pauls front bar got pretty bent not to mention his start motor issues
Bryons gearbox kept overheating
Disco Daves front bar took a beating on several occasions as well..
But we had fun![]()
No that saved my disco today in a seperate incident alltogetherOriginally Posted by Scouse
Looking forward to the trip report,
I was the lucky one that got to ride the quad back to his car,. it was one sweet ride on the sand,.. allthough a bit too loud for my taste,.. Stick a muffler on it from a Defender, and a swag rack, paint it Green, and I could be very happy on that thing,
Bugger, no pics from quad recovery.... anyone else take any?
Nope none here sorry to busy finding out how friggin big that hill was on foot.
Mental Note: When walking, It's always bigger then it looks, therefore drive up!!!!
Any news on my new glove?
