Exclamation Another WAULRO trip expressions of interest

    Gents,
I propose a trip North to the lancelin sand dunes for a day of family fun.
We could drive to lancelin and then head to wedge island via the beach and beachside tracks.
At the dunes there are numerous sand obstacles to tackle and challenge...there are also some cap rock parts of the tracks which necessitate some slow going.

A good family day as it is unlikely you will tip your truck and your kids (Sith)
Safety requirements would help if you had a sand whip/pole and orange flag as sometimes the dunes get quite busy with ATV's,buggy's and dirt bikes..a snatch strap would also be a requirement.
The proposal is for Sunday the 22nd of October as to give the Saturday workers a chance to attend. It will be an all day affair so bring lunch and drinks..

any experianced Lancelin visitors please feel free to add pro's and con's as it has been several years since I visited the area.

    Hi Nigel
Did a trip up there a while back with some of the BlackStumpers,we went all the way to Cervantes and camped the nite at the caravan park.Had a great time but dont think I would go again so soon, its a long way north of here.
Baz and I are thinking of inviting you blokes down to play in our playground in the near future, just got to get it finished. For those who want we could do it saturday then sunday do a run thru from Quindanning to Dwellingup, fairly tame but its on the way home.We intend heading out that way in search of playgrounds.Ive got plenty of room for pitching tents and a big enough shed to roll swags out in,with kegs of homebrew on tap
Got to get BlackBetty back first, she is in Richards(Kie4) loving hands as we speak.

    Hi Nigel
We once went fishing/camping on the beach west of Harvey,@ Myalup. There were sandhills there we played in,but I think it has since been closed off with beach acsess only.
One place I would like to goto is Wilbinga(just north of Wanneroo),used to go there alot in my shorty, when we lived at Woodridge(Guilderton).
