Olympic Extra Grip High Milers is also the same pattern, as is the Goodyear Custom Xtra Grip Hi miler, as pictured.
Phoenix is right. The modified versions of the Australian Defence Forces 110's run the split rim with the Goodyear tyres.

The normal versions that we run with the single piece rims are with the Steeltreks.

Do these goodyear tyres fit standard land rover rims? Also why have split rims. I've never had trouble getting a tyre off or on a land rover rim?

The goodyear tyres are only for the split rims as far as I'm aware. And the split rims are far easier and quicker to repair when you're on the run, that's for sure. And I'm talking out bush not at a workshop as well.

yep the good years fit on a standard 16 inch rim..

a split rim makes it really easy to change the tyre instead of lifting the bead up and over the rim you remove one part of it. and the wheel just slides off...

They can be a bugger to balance, have an inherent safety risk during inflation and high speed operation but I can change a mack truck tyre faster than a rover tyre if all else is equal.

Since they dont seem to be very popular ID be happy to trade mil spec 110 rims for the splits to fit a series 2/3 ^of em if anyones got em
