isn't it cheaper to buy a Defender?
Where in WA can I get good quality used Land Rover parts.
Enough to build a defender for example?

maybe your clients won't notice if you take a part from each vehical
At the price you pay for defender bits you would be better off buying a whole defender as in a wreck or something in the need of much love, i picked up a whole defender for 1500, it was in peices but all there minus the front doors.Originally Posted by kie4
What about the damaged County-Isuzu that Pickles Auctions have in WA. It was mentioned in a thread on this site late last week.Originally Posted by kie4

Hi Richard
That County would have been ideal for you.3.9 isuzu motor, had been rear ended.Got auctioned today.Last week they had a vandalized defender van.I usually look at their listings each week, will let you know if anything comes up.Usually only have Discos.

Hi Rich,
with a total population of only 2 million the odds don't look good for something to come around... as for bits and pieces you can check the www.quokka.com.au each week it always has something..your probably better off doing up a Rangie than a Defender as even County's still fetch a reasonble amount.

Richard,
I don't know if you know him but I suggest you talk to Steve at Rovertech, he is curently rebuilding a TD5 defender and if I remember right he had to purchase numerous parts.
