I needed something to suck up to the misses when I got the Landy (I already had another 4by in the drive but couldn't miss a good deal) so I got her plates for her birthday![]()
. Her mum/dad calls her BUB so that was a given, I combine it with her birth year, got it in pink and put it on her "fast" car (14's down the 1/4) but now the boys at work let me have it, ie pink plates & BUB.

I had AIF-49 on my 1928 Dodge Standard Six ute. Painted it black body, royal blue guards as per the colour patch of the 49th. Battalion, my grandfather's WW1 unit.Originally Posted by longreach

My plate is JST10.
I tried to get JUS10 and quite a few others of the same sound but they were all taken so this one will do.
It sounds like my first name.
Plus it's a good bit of advice for the kiddies.Originally Posted by Reads90
Oh for f**k's sake - this is what I mean. If you can't spell it using proper letters then don't try. I will accept "1 nstead of "I" and "0" instead of "O" with "5" instead of "S" at a pinch, but that kind of cr*p is just getting ridiculous!Originally Posted by dobbo

It's called 'leet' . It's a new way of spelling that has evolved from sms, the internet and a desire to be original amongst those of the younger persuasion. It's no good railing against it coming 'cause it's already here.Originally Posted by solmanic
