I am not too sure what rear speakers I have but they are very loud and seem to be stuck on playing:Quote:

One on the left is a 2003 model - but still 02MY model spec.
One on the right was a 2002, 02MY model.
The factory specifications are IDENTICAL in every respect but some of you may now know what the "unseen" major difference is...
BTW, what's that about the front bumper indicator lights???
built in different countries?
Umm why did you ever have 2 like this in the 1st place ?
As for the benefits of owning 2 Landies:
Just when one is sorted, the other one will $hit itself, enabling you to spend more mon... umm, love on it.
There is a major disadvantage of owning a RR and a Defender. The missus will insist the Defender is "YOURS" and is the off-road car while the RR is "HERS" and shouldn;t be taken off road in case it gets a scratch or something.
CORRECT! You now go into the draw to win a meat tray at my local RSL.Quote:

As for why I had two - the "older" one had been around the block a few thousand more times so I thought I would trade-up to a much newer one still under warranty. Some people may have noticed that last year there were many, many more Defenders for sale in Sydney than in Brisbane (I was informed that this had something to do with several local councils implementing some draconian urban bullbar restrictions - not sure if this was true) Consequently I was able to sell-off the older one here for the same price as I could get the newer one down south.
It was pure fluke that they were the same colour but it was kind of nice having a "fleet" for a few weeks.
Would like another Rangie or Disco but too poor :( :(
The Rangie's great off-road with the lockers, winch, 33's etc.. but on-road whilts it drives well, also has no carpet and the 3.5 isn't a powerhouse and drinks more than me on a hot day it's just not a practical, especially on easier club trips where a less modified LR would suffice (would rather save the Rangie for more hardcore gear).
With the price of half-decent S1 Discos plummeting, the wait may not be as long :D
