I've just been over to Fraser for a long weekend (Got in before the rush ). The weather was terrible (wind and rain), there were no fish (Dart don't count) but it was my first trip over there and my first real insight as to what the Disco is capable of so I enjoyed ever minute of it. The thought that everyone else was probably working made it even better!
As I said, first trip to Fraser, but hopefully the first of many. I hope everyone planning thier trip over have better weather than we did and keep away from the back-packers (it's OK to look though isn't it??? )

Thanks to Inscisor too for selling me his roofrack - couldn't have done the trip without it!

Onya Paul, thanks for the heads up on the weather,if it has been raining on the island that should make the sand easier to drive the inland tracks and by-passes,mite even deter a few of the xxxx yobbo's as well, nuthin like sharing a family holiday with truck loads of goons who start the day off with a yellow can, then dont stop all day, even whilst driving dont get me wrong ,i have nuthing against having a drink, but, fraser can be unforgiving on the unwary, and driving around on a gutfull of xxxx or whatever isnt a smart thing to do,better off leaving the binge till camp

and only 8 sleeps to go!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to Fraser also, arrive boxing day leave the following saturday. Staying in a house at Waddy Point. We've got 2 rangies and a vitara going.

Can't wait sitting on a deck with 4 burner BBQ overlooking the bay with views to the cape. mmmm

Mines a red 1990 model and the other is a grey P38

Are there any fish up there at the moment?

    Cheers Guy
