Well, i'll miss you Ron, be weird not to own a Landy and not be able to contribute to the site, but hey, it never stopped me. Its life, you do what you gotta do,but dont panic, we're always going to need a spelling tooter, tuetor, teutor, you know what I mean. enjoy, sounds like a hell of a journey.

Well Ron, to say i am dissapointed in you would be an understatement but it is well kitted out and will serve the purpose well so i am not about to cross you off the xmas card list.

If i had the cash i would buy your rangie but i am just not in the position to do so. Good luck with it. Matt

I haven't bought it yet and may not. There are things I need to know about it still.

shame on you ron on two counts, first you made me go to that "other place" to read about "that" vehicle, and secondly for even contemplating buying one

however the redeeming part is that your second last post really stuck it up the landbruisers aesthetics (for the unedumacated, the way it looks )

Ron -- 'IF' you did we would not think the worse of you for it.

    BUT......

I am confused as to what you want. Why do you want a beast like that when for the most part it will be just you?

Why not get a Defender or Disco? I saw a really nice Defender recently which was well kitted out with lockers for about the same amount.

If you look around and are patient (time is on your side ) you will find a good Landy.

When laying in bed tonight....you know you will not really like it and will ultimately come back to the family.....I know there is still good in you!!!

    Seems like a nice car!

At least we'll know there's one more decent bloke driving a Cruiser!

If you buy it, don't forget to visit (and the same when your heading round oz)

Well at least you would be able to say "Ahh remmember how good it used to be in the Range rover". If it is just going to be you in the vehicle for the trip then it's a very big machine for one person and higher fuel consumption to boot than the Landys.
