    I'm sure someone here posted a site where you could find details on your land rover by submitting the chassis / serial #.

    I got a 1959 Series II that I'm trying to find the engine # for and buggered if I can find it, must be under 50 years of cack.

    If anyone has the link it'd be appreciated.....

    (sorry to mention something that is almost a hijack - though not off topic )

    There was only even one made and if i`m right went into a 1993 Discovery which had a manual gearbox and i think the duco was white in colour .
