Thread: Salesman thinks Jeep is better than D3

My wife's step-father has a Grand Cherokee 3.0CRD.

Not a bad piece of kit, but generally not put together as well as a Disco3.

I don't know what it's like off-road as his idea of off-roading is parking it on the front lawn.

Yeah, I'd go for a decent pre-loved TDV6 D3. They seem to loose their value as you drive them out of the showroom, just make absolutely sure it hasn't come out of the panel beaters/or been previously pinched (aka: 4corners).
I, for one don't feel insecure about discussing the virtues of other four wheelers. I know mine is without doubt, far superior in every way!.

Yair, you're right. I'm an Anglophile.

But to get back on topic, I did consider a Jeep for my wife. The price was right (albeit for the V6 petrol) but, in the end, we went for a Forester as we didn't really need another o9ff-roader.

I read I think in 4wd monthly or one of them the one that just came out this week. LR only sold 113 or 133 D3,s last month. As I have been saying too many times before PRICING, PRICING, PRICING. enough said.

Thats because they have no stock and sales are based on registrations.

Wait till around Feb/Mar when the big shipment arrives!
