    Wolfmother
    Powderfinger
    jebidiah
    Something For Kate
    Spiderbait
    Sonic Animation
    Rhubarb
    Supergrass, bloody brilliant live
    John Butler Trio

    Grinspoon, as are these guys

and have taken the gauntlet from the young bands of my misspent youth
    ACDC
    The church
    radiators
    angles
    masters apprentices
    chisel
    ross ryan
    the dingos
    chain
midnight oil, oh those wild nights at the royal antler Narrabeen i love the sound of broken glass under foot
    Cheers Baz.

Saw AC/DC in '01 in Brissie at Boondal. Althogh they're getting on in age, they can still bang on and keep up with the current crop. Was seated about 10 rows from the front and off to the side a little, good poisition and it didn't cost a small fortune

What was intersting is that AC/DC has such a diverse fan base from teenagers to older blokes (say late 50's) due to there long jepordy I guess.

Couldn't agree more, at the Louth races in August every bloody car was belting out Johnnie Cash (or so it seemed). So to get even Numpty was belting out Slade, not sure they knew what it was or what to make of it.

Looking at my collection I seem to have quite varied tastes - but practically none of those mentioned previously.

My favourite composer is probably J.S.Bach, but I also have quite a lot of Beethoven and Mozart. Also like a lot of Ravel, Verdi, Strauss, Sullivan, and a lot of minor composers. Some jazz. Not keen on Wagner.
Probably prefer instrumental music, particularly orchestral and organ music, but also have quite a lot of vocal including opera, and yes, some country.
Minor instruments that feature in my collection include bagpipes, harp, pan pipes.
Also have quite a bit of Rogers & Hammerstein.
Above played/sung by a wide variety of artists, in several cases have the same works with several different performers.
